Backup & Sync
Save pushes your theme, dashboard layouts/widgets, tracked items, checklists, and garden layout to your account right now. This already happens automatically in the background too (along with refreshing your active character/mounts from Lodestone, via the sync button next to the settings gear in the userbar); Save is here for peace of mind or to force it before switching devices.
Load pulls whatever is currently saved on your account and applies it here, overwriting this device's local settings. Use it right after logging in on a new or reset device, before anything on this device gets the chance to auto-save over your real settings.
Export saves those same settings to a file you keep yourself, independent of account sync. Use it before a big local change, or to hand your setup to another device or person. Import loads one of those files back in.
Reset clears all of the above back to defaults on this device only. Your account's saved copy is untouched unless you Save afterward.
Moderation
One-off maintenance tool, not part of any user's own character sync. The fast mount-sync path added to fix the mounts-sync errors doesn't produce icon hashes, and a hash is the only thing a mount's Lodestone tooltip - and therefore its splash/foot art - can be looked up by, so a normal successful sync no longer discovers any art on its own. This fetches one Lodestone character's full mount list instead (any public mount page works, it doesn't need to be a linked account) and resolves art for whichever of their mounts don't have it cached yet. Safe to re-run against the same character to pick up where a previous run's budget left off.

Imports the Garden Planner's seed/crossbreed catalog from the bundled data files (market-intelligence/data/garden/*.json) into the database. This is static game mechanics data that essentially never changes, so it's a one-off button instead of a standing sync job - re-run it any time those bundled files themselves get updated. Full replace each run: safe to click more than once.
Mirrors small, rarely-changing XIVAPI reference tables into the database so the Gear Planner and BLU Spellbook don't have to fetch them live. This host has no terminal/SSH access, so these run as admin-triggered buttons instead of a command-line job - safe to click any time, e.g. after a patch adds a new materia tier or BLU spell.
~60 rows, two quick requests - finishes in a couple seconds every time.
~124 spells, two live requests each - capped per click so it doesn't run into a shared-host time limit. Click again to keep going; it always picks up wherever the last run left off.
Syncs each item's Lodestone Eorzea Database page hash so its name links show the official hover-preview card. One clean file download from a community-maintained list, not a live per-item lookup, so it checks the whole catalog every click - safe and quick to re-run any time, e.g. after a patch adds new items.
Imports the Gear Planner's per-item acquisition catalog (which raid/dungeon/ tomestone/quest/etc. drops each non-craftable/non-gatherable piece) from the bundled data file (market-intelligence/data/equipment_sources/sources.json). No live catalog covers this the way FFXIV Collect covers mounts/minions, so this is hand-curated and re-run whenever that file changes. Full replace each run: safe to click more than once.

Garden Planner
Look a seed up either direction: what it takes to grow one you want, or what you can grow with one you already have. Catalog comes from the admin Tools panel's Garden Data import.
Helpful mode plans your whole garden for you, working backward from what you want to grow. Manual mode lets you place every bed yourself. Either way, a planted seed crosses with the nearest occupied bed in this order: Right, Down, Up, Left - and patches don't reach into their neighbors.
Chocobo Tools
Color your chocobo! Pick its current color and the color you want, and we'll work out the snacks to feed (and the order to feed them in) to get there.
Work out how much EXP (and how many Thavnairian Onions) your battle companion chocobo needs to reach a target rank, and about how many stable trainings or days that will take.
Breed two racing chocobos and see the odds for each stat on the resulting fledgling. Star ratings and Pedigree come from each parent's own Pedigree tab in-game.
